The conference on Strengthening Specialties Construction to Serve the Development of Local Industry held in Tongren

On the morning of November 30, 2011, the conference on Strengthening Specialties Construction to Serve the Development of Local Industry held in Tongren. It was sponsored by provincial Department of Eduation, and Organized by Tongren Polythnic. More than 200 people including several leaders in charge of education from Ministry of Education and the provincial government in Guizhou attended the conference.

The conference was presided over by Section Chief He Xiuqian from Division of Vocational and Adult Education in Guizhou. Deputy Commissioner Wang Runhua from Prefectural Administrative Office of Tongren delivered a welcome speech.

At the conference, president Hou Changlin as one of five presidents from different colleges delivered a speech on specialties construction in our college.

Deputy Director Cai Zhijun from the Department of Education in Guizhou concluded the conference. By analyzing the problems existing in specialties construction, she put forward some guiding suggestions on how to strengthen the construction of specialties and build the specialties with distinctive features.
