Deputy director Zhang Guantao and deputy commissioner Ms. Lei Wenrong paid an inspection visit to the college

On the morning of October 11, Mr. Zhang Guantao, deputy director of Prefectural and Working Committee of People's Congress in Tongren, and Ms. Lei Wenrong, deputy commissioner of Administrative Office in Tongren Prefecture paid an inspection visit to our college, accompanied by president Hou Changlin, all county chiefs and directors of Education Bureau in Tongren Prefecture, and persons in charge of departments.

They visited the library, the second-phase construction on new campus and the canteen successively. Deputy director Luo Jing, curator Zhang Hongying, and Gao Zhibin, person in charge of General Affairs Division reported enrollment of overseas students from Laos, collection of books and items in the library, construction of the second-phase project and management of canteen respectively.

On the first floor of the library, Mr. Zhang Guantao and Ms. Lei Wenrong had a cordial talk with all overseas students on their experience in China, life and study in Tongren. Overseas students representative reported the details to leaders and expressed his gratitude to leaders, teachers and peers for their kindness.

Ms. Lei Wenrong extended a welcome to overseas students for coming to China and studying in Tongren. She said that Tongren was a very picturesque place with kind and unsophisticated people living across the whole prefecture. Tongren Polytechnic was among the first 40 colleges to be constructed as a key higher vocational college. Every of them should be studious and make great success in their learning so as to lay a solid foundation for making contributions to their country in the future.
