The Sixth Annual English Speaking Competition successfully held

On the afternoon of April 17, 2013, the Sixth Annual English Speaking Competition sponsored by the Training Center and organized by the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />School of Humanities was successfully held in the auditorium. Vice president Yang Zhengshui was present.

The competition attracted a lot of students.altogether there were sixty contestants who entered the second run. Only twenty-five of them came to the final including English majors, non-English majors and overseas students from Laos.

In the opening speech, Mr. Yang Zhengshui encouraged the students to pay more attention to English learning, improve their ability of English expression and lay a solid foundation for future employment.

Through heated competition, three students including Feng Weiwei, An Peng and Huang Minglian from College of Humanities, College of International Education and College of Agriculture respectively obtained the first prize.

At last Mr. Deng Zhenhua and Claire made comments to the competition. Both of them thought highly of the speeched given by all contestants and encouraged more students to participate in English activities.
