On the afternoon of June 15, 2012, Bill Glew, Engineering Program Director from Aston University in Britain with a history of over a century visited to talk over cooperation and exchanges with leaders of our college. Secretary of TRZY party committee Yang Chunguang, vice president Yang Zhengshui and persons in charge of the Department of Engineering Technology, Teaching Affairs Division, etc entertained the guests.

At the meeting, secretary Yang extended his warm welcome to the guests from far away and introduced the circumstances of the schooling of our college. Director Bill Glew also introduced the features of schooling and the basic information of Aston University as well as the engineering training program that he is in charge of. He also hoped that the cooperation with Chinese mainland higher educational institutes and companies could be furthered.

A deep discussion on program cooperation, exchanges of teachers, cooperative schooling, etc was conducted by both sides. A preliminary consensus was reached based on acceptable content of cooperation which laid a basis for carrying out substantial exchanges and cooperation between both sides.
